Mikes Palace - reconstruction and restoration works
Mikes Palace is situated on the northern part of Museum square, being one of the noble palaces built in Cluj at the turn of the 18th century. The palace plan is U-shaped, the building has a partial basement, ground floor and floor.
Mikes Palace is one of the typical palaces of late Baroque in Cluj. Mikes Palace had several construction periods, the current research stage showing three main phases: pre baroque, baroque, and eclectic.
From the pre baroque period we have only the western wall of apartment no. 5 in the north-west corner of the palace, which keeps a few traces of voids very different from the gaps of the current northern façade (the Baroque voids have not been changed during the eclectic period). This wall was erected in an unclear period (before 1790) when there were no other buildings in the western neighborhood.

- Removal and repair of tile roofs.
- Restoration of decorative elements on the facade (window frames, cornices, prophiles, socle)
- Consolidation and closure of cracks in piles, hollows, arches by injection and application of carbon fiber / glass fiber strips.
- Closing hollows and creating new ones.
- Demolition of the old floor and construction of a new one on a metallic structure.
- Hydraulic lime plastering of arch walls and vaults made of bricks, stone or masonry. Thermosystem plastering.
- Hydraulic lime plaster finishing for renovation / restoration works.
- Archeological excavations in the inner courtyard and the gang.
- Creating a new underground concrete structure inside the old walls.
- Main façade metal balcony execution.

Sfântul Apostol și Evanghelist MATEI Church
Orthodox traditional church, 32 m long, 10.25 m wide (13.25 m at the side apses), with two towers, a nave and a narthex. The vertical structure is made of masonry on an armed core, with reinforcements in the effort concentration points generated by the towers.

The double domes, cupolas and arches are also made of reinforced concrete cast on a masonry formwork with various curved profiles.

- The church is poker club shaped, has a tower and a bell tower.
- The church plan is cross shaped, with a narthex, nave, altar and “brâncovenesc”-style porch with cylindrical columns and semicircular arches.

- The entire reinforced concrete structure is thus invisible being "dressed" in the masonry, on both (inner and outer) sides.

Reconstruction works / rehabilitation and conversion into an office building.
All buildings inside the Citadel are very important and have an exceptional historical value for the modern history of Cluj.
The Austrian fortification was built in the first decades of the 18th century, and played an important role in the history of Cluj until the Revolution of 1848.
The project included rehabilitation and reconstruction works, reconversion of the old military barracks into offices - at the H pavilion of the bastion fortress, plus exterior arrangements
